World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen (7.5) scored a fluent victory over Cuban Grandmaster Leinier Perez Dominguez in the eleventh round of the Corus Super Grandmaster Chess tournament at Wijk Aan Zee, The Netherlands. With this win Carlsen moves to the top of the table with Kramnik at 7.5 points. Shirov is close behind at 7.0 points, followed at 6.0 points by Anand, Nakamura, Ivanchuk and Karjakin.

In Group B matches, Parimarjan Negi and Pentala Harikrishna drew with Emil Sutovsky and Ni Hua respectively. Dutch Grandmaster Anish Giri following his spectacular win over Wesley So leads the group with 8.0 points from eleven rounds, followed by Erwin L’Ami and Ni Hua at 7.0 points.
