Abhijeet Gupta in four way tie @ Reykjavik Open 2010

Former World Junior Champion Abhijeet Gupta came up with a grand show scoring 7/9, tying for the first place in the Reykjavik Open 2010 at Iceland. In the final round Abhijeet opted for a quick draw against GM Hannes Stefansson in the top board. In addition to Abhijeet the trio of Grandmasters viz., Ivan Sokolov, Yuriy Kuzubov and Hannes Stefansson finished on the top with 7.0 points.

Capping her fine show Andhra girl Dronavalli Harika finished with 6.0 points sharing the tenth spot. Half a point behind were WGMs Eesha Karavade and Tania Sachdev. IMs Sahaj Grover and Vishal Sareen completed the Indian group with scores of 4.5 & 4.0 respectively.
